The both leaders expressed satisfaction with the state of bilateral relations, which are developing in the true spirit of friendship and mutual cooperation, and expressed readiness to maintain this positive dynamic at the highest level.

 

 

 

 

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that Qatar is one of Kazakhstan’s strategic partners in the Arab world. According to the President, the recent visit and participation of the Amir of Qatar in the Astana International Forum gave a strong impetus to Kazakh-Qatari cooperation.

 

 

 

During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the prospects for deepening trade and economic cooperation on the basis of previously signed agreements, as well as outlined areas for expanding further partnership.

The Head of State noted that he was pleased to observe political and economic transformations in Africa, and emphasized Kazakhstan’s commitment to expanding ties with the countries of the continent.

 

 

 

 

Next year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Togo, in this regard, the leaders reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

 

 

 

 

The Presidents discussed prospects for deepening cooperation in trade and investment, transport and logistics and agricultural spheres, as well as issues of interaction within the framework of international organizations.

The Heads of State exchanged greetings on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing the peoples of Kazakhstan and Qatar prosperity and well-being.

During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the prospects for further strengthening of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian areas. Special attention was paid to the effective implementation of the agreements reached following Amir Al Thani’s state visit to Astana in October last year.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the dynamics of mutual trade and implementation of investment projects, including in financial sector.
