Participation in the meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries

2022

On 11 December 2022 in Ashgabat the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda participated and addressed the 12th meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries.

During his statement the Deputy Minister expressed his views on the importance of joint fight against modern threats and challenges, including terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, organized crime and climate change problems.

Deputy Minister Huseizoda briefed the participants on the efforts of the Government of Tajikistan to strengthen dialogue, especially within the framework of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), in order to find effective ways to counter the above threats.

At the same time, the attention of the participants was drawn to the “Dushanbe Process on countering terrorism”, as well as high-level international events organized within the framework of this process.

Orta Asya ülkeleri Dışişleri Bakan Yardımcıları toplantısına katılım

11 Aralık 2022 tarihinde Aşkabat’ta Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti Dışişleri Bakan Yardımcısı Muzaffar Huseinzoda Orta Asya ülkeleri Dışişleri Bakan Yardımcılarının 12. toplantısına katılarak konuşma yaptı.

Bakan Yardımcısı yaptığı açıklamada, terörizm ve aşırıcılık, uyuşturucu kaçakçılığı, organize suçlar ve iklim değişikliği sorunları dahil olmak üzere modern tehditlere ve zorluklara karşı ortak mücadelenin önemine ilişkin görüşlerini dile getirdi.

Bakan Yardımcısı Huseizoda, katılımcılara, Tacikistan Hükümeti’nin, özellikle BM Orta Asya Önleyici Diplomasi Bölgesel Merkezi (UNRCCA) çerçevesinde, yukarıdaki tehditlere karşı etkili yollar bulmak amacıyla diyaloğu güçlendirme çabaları hakkında bilgi verdi.

Aynı zamanda “Terörle Mücadele Duşanbe Süreci”ne ve bu süreç çerçevesinde düzenlenen üst düzey uluslararası etkinliklere de katılımcıların ilgisi çekildi.

Meeting of the Foreign Minister with the OSCE Secretary-General

 

On 2 December 2022 in Lodz, Poland on the margins of the 29th session of the OSCE Ministerial Council the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the OSCE Secretary-General Helga Schmid.

During the meeting, parties discussed the key issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and the OSCE, including the situation in the region and Afghanistan, issues of counter-terrorism, cooperation in the field of water and climate, etc.

At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the OSCE on the organization’s Program Office in Dushanbe.
