22 Nisan 2025’te Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti Dışişleri Bakanlığı Koleji’nin olağan toplantısı yapıldı. 13 Mart 2024 tarihinde Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti’nin Birleşmiş Milletler Ofisi ve diğer uluslararası kuruluşlardaki Cenevre Daimi Temsilcisi Sayın Sharaf Sheralizoda, Birleşmiş Milletler Avrupa Ekonomik Komisyonu (UNECE) Bölgesi Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Bölgesel Forumu’na katıldı. .

Tacikistan Daimi Temsilcisi konuşmasında, iklim değişikliğinin etkisinden ve bunun milyonlarca insan üzerindeki sonuçlarından, ayrıca Tacikistan’ın su ve iklim sorunlarının ele alınmasında entegre bir yaklaşımın aktif olarak desteklenmesinden bahsetti.

Özellikle, 2025 yılının “Uluslararası Buzulları Koruma Yılı”, 21 Mart’ın “Dünya Buzullar Günü” olarak ilan edilmesi ve buzullara yönelik faaliyetleri desteklemek üzere bir BM Güven Fonu kurulması yönündeki BM Genel Kurulu kararının önemi vurgulandı. Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti’nin başlattığı buzulun korunmasına ilişkin Uluslararası Üst Düzey Konferansın 2025 yılında Duşanbe’de toplanması ve korunması.

On June 5, 2023, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan met with Ms. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.

 

 

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and the Commission, as well as topics related to food security, transport, green economy, disaster risk reduction, water and climate, especially Tajikistan’s new initiative on glacier’s preservation. During the meeting, issues of strengthening cooperation in various areas of mutual interest were also discussed.

On May 22, 2023, the Forum on tourism opportunities of Tajikistan was held in Riyadh at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within the framework of the working visit of a delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The objective of this forum was to present the tourism opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan in Saudi Arabia and to strengthen cooperation between official institutions and the private sector representatives of the two countries engaged in tourism and attracting tourists and investors from Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan.

On March 7, 2023, the first meeting of the Joint Working Group on Afghanistan as part of the “Central Asia-India” Dialogue was held in New Delhi with the participation of the heads of the relevant structural units / special envoys of the ministries of foreign affairs of the countries of Central Asia and India.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the political, security and humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, contemporary threats such as terrorism, extremism, radicalization and drug trafficking emanating from the territory of this country, as well as ways and means to counter regional security challenges.

In their turn, the representatives of the World Food Program and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime informed the audience about their activities in Afghanistan in the field of eliminating the consequences of the humanitarian crisis and preventing drug trafficking.

A Joint Statement was adopted following the meeting.
