On August 22, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the US Senator, chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Gary Peters.

 

 

 

 

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral relations between Tajikistan and the United States in the political, economic, humanitarian spheres and security cooperation, and exchanged views on the use of wide range of opportunities for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

On July 17, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Muhammad Saeed Sarwar.

 

 

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current level of political and economic relations and other important bilateral issues.

 

 

 

The Foreign Minister congratulated the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic activities in Tajikistan.

On April 25, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin during his official visit to China met with Director of the China International Cooperation and Development Agency Luo Zhaohui.

 

 

 

 

 

During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the timely and qualitative implementation of joint strategic projects implemented in Tajikistan and considered it important to develop cooperation in various areas, including digitalization of the economy and trade, energy/hydropower, industry, transport, education, medicine, tourism and others.
