MFA of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Permanent Representative of Finland to the OSCE

 

 

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with the Permanent Representative of Finland to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Vesa Hakkinen.

 

 

 

During the negotiations, the sides exchanged views on the interaction within the OSCE, as well as parties’ vision for improving the activities of the Organization.

 

 

 

 

The Deputy Foreign Minister informed representatives of Finland about the large-scale reforms being carried out in our country, as well as the main directions of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy.

 

 

 

 

Mutual interest was expressed in implementing joint projects within the OSCE in the areas of “green economy” and “green energy”, mitigating the negative consequences of climate change.

 

 

 

The parties also discussed certain issues on the regional and international agenda.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye Olgan Bekar.

 

 

 

 

The sides underscored the dynamic nature of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, educational and other fields. They discussed the prospects for further enhancing the Uzbekistan-Turkiye relations of comprehensive strategic partnership.

 

 

 

 

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming joint events at various levels and formats.

MFA of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Ambassador of China

 

 

 

 

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Yu Jun.

 

 

 

 

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on Uzbekistan-China cooperation and reaffirmed the mutual commitment to the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.

 

 

 

The parties noted readiness to continue the practice of providing mutual support within the framework of international organizations.

 

 

 

They also considered international and regional agenda.
