On November 27, 2023, an economic forum on energy cooperation and green energy was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany with the participation of political and business circles of host country and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

 

 

 

During the forum, opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany in the field of green energy and prospects for its further expansion were discussed.

 

 

 

Guests at the event were introduced to the wide range of opportunities in Tajikistan for developing cooperation in the field of renewable energy, in particular hydropower. The need to attract foreign direct investment and the introduction of new technologies were highlighted as key factors in the development of bilateral cooperation in this field.

The Ambassador of Tajikistan called on German energy companies to participate in the implementation of the initiatives and proposals outlined during the meeting of the heads of states of Central Asia and Germany in the C5+1 format on 29 September 2023 in Berlin.
