The adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations on 10 December 1948 is an important first step towards the international protection of human rights, and therefore, 10 December is celebrated as “Human Rights Day” in all countries of the world.

When the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights”, defined as the constitution of human rights by the United Nations General Assembly, was declared on December 10, 1948, international mechanisms were established and put into operation to prevent human rights violations all over the world. In this context, a series of legal regulations were made in our country and these rights were also protected by the Constitution and Laws. The protection of human rights in our country and their further advancement are among the primary goals of all segments of our society. Our efforts to always reach the better and more beautiful will continue without ever considering the point we have reached in the field of human rights, which is accepted as a measure of development, as sufficient.

In this context, as a state and a nation, we are determined and resolute to embrace human rights and freedoms, see our differences as richness in the axis of love, respect and tolerance, and carry these values ​​into the future in a way that will make our country much stronger.

With these feelings and thoughts; I celebrate December 10th World Human Rights Day, with the wish for a world where there are no human rights violations and love and brotherhood prevail, and I hope it will be a blessing for all humanity.

Our mukhtars, who are one of the cornerstones of our democracy in our country and the closest point of contact between our state and our citizens, are the representatives of our state, our neighborhoods and our villages in the duties they perform.

Our mukhtars assume important duties in their neighborhoods or villages and act as a bridge between our citizens and state institutions. The mukhtar organization, which is one of the institutions that renew itself today, has always been at the service of our citizens by carrying the modern, innovative public administration approach to even the most remote settlements.

As an indication of the importance given to our mukhtars, very important studies have been carried out in recent years to determine the needs of the mukhtar institution, the problems they face and the solution proposals for these problems, and the vision for the future by preserving the historical ties of this institution, and October 19 has been declared as Mukhtars Day.

With these feelings and thoughts; I congratulate our mukhtars, who carry out a very important duty between our state and our citizens, on the “October 19 Mukhtars’ Day”, thank them for their successful work, and wish God’s mercy upon our deceased mukhtars and health and successful duties for those on duty.

Our elders are our social memory that sheds light on our future with their experiences, knowledge and experience, builds a bridge between yesterday and today, and transmits our customs, traditions, culture and values ​​to the future by keeping the past alive.

Our dear nation, with the education it receives from its religious and cultural values, has always approached our elders, who have made great efforts to bring us to these days of peace and prosperity, with love and respect; the feelings of gratitude, compassion and care shown to elders have always made their weight felt in our society.

Every opportunity provided for our elderly people to live in dignity, security and peace is an expression of our gratitude to our elders who spent most of their lives serving their country.

It is the duty of all of us as a society to make life easier for our elderly, who prepare us for these days and the future, to ensure that they live without being dependent on anyone, and to show them the necessary respect and care.

ASFA HOLDING Chairman of the Board of Directors Asaf ATASOY included the following statements in his message;

The fire extinguishing organization, which served under various names such as the Fire Brigade and the Military Fire Department during the Ottoman period, was accepted as a municipal service as of September 25, 1923, and the modern fire department was established.

In today’s conditions, our fire department works 24 hours a day with its modern equipment and personnel to ensure the safety of life and property of our people, not only in fires but also in all natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes.

Our firefighters, who practice this sacred profession, have shown extraordinary effort by doing their part in the best way possible during the earthquakes, fires and floods that have occurred in different parts of our country recently.

I congratulate our brave firefighters who fight for the safety of our nation on Firefighters’ Week; I wish God’s mercy to our firefighters who lost their lives while performing this sacred duty, and I wish our firefighters who are on duty good health and days full of success.
